Controversial city socialite Bryan White (Brian Kirumira) has been remanded to Luzira Maximum Security Prison after appearing before the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
He faces seven serious criminal charges, including human sacrifice and manslaughter, linked to the death of 25-year-old Carol Nalubwama.

A few weeks ago, a mysterious fire gutted Bryan White’s Makindye home, leaving him and Carol with severe burns. Carol was rushed to several health facilities but sadly passed away at Kiruddu Hospital due to critical injuries.
Police investigations later revealed that Carol’s death may have been staged, placing Bryan White as the prime suspect. Despite his injuries, he was brought to court in an ambulance for the mention of his case.
His arrest follows earlier charges against his wife Nalunga Daisy, and co-accused Irene Nambalirwa, Naava Nakato, and Abaho Daphine, who are accused of giving false information, conspiracy, manslaughter, and negligent acts leading to death.
Outside court, Carol’s father Ssalongo Tom Mutyaba expressed anger and vowed not to bury his daughter until justice is served, accusing Bryan of hiding behind theatrics:
“He has been finishing people and getting away with it. This time he messed with my daughter.”

Bryan White rose to fame in 2017 through his flashy Bryan White Foundation but has since faced numerous scandals and legal battles.
The Director of Public Prosecutions is expected to commit the case to the High Court soon as investigations continue, including analysis of CCTV footage and items recovered from alleged shrines in his home.
