Renowned BBS Terefayina presenter and actress Florence Nampijja has officially left the Mengo based TV station after close to 10 years of service.
The news of her departure was first made public by media personality Kasuku, who shared a screenshot of her farewell message to her workmates via X (formerly Twitter).
In her message, Nampijja expressed deep appreciation to the BBS family for the memories and support over the years.
“Spending nearly 10 fantastic years here has been an invaluable experience, and I deeply appreciate the time I’ve spent working with each of you. Thank you for making my time here so memorable,” she wrote.
Florence Nampijja joined BBS in 2016, shortly after the station launched under Buganda Kingdom. With her lively energy, creativity, and humor, she quickly became one of the most recognizable faces on the channel.
She is well known for hosting the popular music show “BBS Tucacance”, which airs Monday to Friday at 5 PM, a program that gained a strong following among young and urban music fans.
As she moves on, Nampijja remains thankful for the platform that shaped her media journey. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see what her next chapter will look like in the entertainment world.
