Veteran singer Lubega Tony, popularly known as Red Banton, has opened up about a series of strange and emotional dreams involving the late Mowzey Radio, revealing that the fallen Goodlyfe star keeps appearing to him asking that his last funeral rites (Lumbe) be performed.
Speaking during an interview, Red Banton disclosed that Radio has appeared to him several times in his sleep, often looking peaceful but seemingly troubled about something left unfinished.

“In one dream, we were at Nanganda near the Goodlyfe home. He was dressed smartly in his usual style and told me to hold his Lumbe. In another, he gave me a song that I’m still working on. He keeps coming to me in my sleep,” Red Banton emotionally shared.
The “Speed 180” hitmaker went on to narrate another dream where Radio offered him a ride to a lake a scene he believes carried deep spiritual meaning.
“I didn’t know how to get to the lake, but he arrived in a big car, wearing a sleeveless shirt, and told me he would take me there. He drove me to my destination and then disappeared,” Red Banton explained.
According to Banton, these recurring dreams could be a sign that Mowzey Radio’s spirit isn’t at rest, possibly because his Lumbe ceremony was never carried out.

“Maybe he also appears to other people who fear coming out publicly, but I believe he wants his Lumbe to be done so he can rest in peace,” he concluded.
The late Mowzey Radio, one of Uganda’s most talented and celebrated musicians, passed away in February 2018 following injuries sustained in a bar fight. His music continues to live on, inspiring countless fans and artists across the country.
