Kalungu East MP – elect Yusuf Nkeretanyi has come out strongly to dismiss circulating rumours linking him romantically to Mirembe Beddings boss Mirembe, describing the claims as false and misleading.
Speaking during an interview on Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show, Nkeretanyi clarified that Mirembe is happily married and that their relationship is strictly platonic.
“Mirembe is happily married, and I have no romantic relationship with her. We are just friends,” Nkeretanyi stated.
The rumours, which began making rounds about six days ago , alleged that the two were involved in an intimate affair connected to their reported business interactions in the curtains and bedding industry.
However, Mirembe had earlier brushed off the claims, insisting that any association between them is purely professional and rooted in legitimate business dealings.
It is reported that Mirembe broke up with her long time husband and she is currently leaving single life
Both parties have now publicly dismissed the gossip, urging the public to ignore what they describe as baseless speculation driven by misinformation rather than facts.
