Museveni, together with Kenya’s President William Ruto and Tanzania’s Samia Suluhu Hassan, received the CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award for their massive contribution to the growth and transformation of African football.

CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe applauded the East African leaders for their unwavering support toward football development, improved sports structures, and efforts to empower young talent.
