The Secretary General of Uganda’s opposition National Unity Platform (NUP), David Lewis Rubongoya, has reported the alleged abduction of party activist and musician King Zale in Kamwokya, a suburb of Kampala.
According to Rubongoya, armed men intercepted King Zale and his vehicle before surrounding it using what he described as a drone. He further stated that the suspects then forcibly removed him from the vehicle at gunpoint and took him to an unknown destination.
“We’ve just been informed of the violent abduction of our brother, King Zale, from Kamwokya. Onlookers say, armed men moving in a drone surrounded his vehicle, put him on gunpoint, and ordered him to move out of his car before driving off with him to an unknown destination.
