Ugandan singer Carol Nantongo is officially engaged to her longtime partner Dylann Delan, the son of music legend Mesach Semakula.
The romantic, invite-only engagement happened on Thursday evening, attended by a few close friends including Caroline Marcah, Spice Diana, Kais Divo, and Florence Nampijja.
Moments after accepting the proposal, the former Golden Band Songstress rushed to social media, dropping a heartfelt message:
“I SAID YES TO MY BEST FRIEND ❤️ … You are my forever gift.”
For years, the two have openly shared a loving relationship secretly and they’ve now sealed it with a sparkling ring.
Mesach Semakula also celebrated the moment, welcoming Carol into the family:
“Welcome to our family… You have our full support and love.”,he wrote on his Facebook page.
