Ugandan songbird Hajara Namukwaya alias Spice Diana, has officially parted ways with her longtime manager Roger Lubega and Source Management after almost eight years of a successful working relationship.
Rumors of a possible fallout started circulating shortly after her mega concert in January, with fans hinting that the “Siri Regular” hit-maker was planning to go independent.
However, sources close to the singer reveal that a new twist recently changed everything. A wealthy new partner in Spice’s life allegedly began influencing her career decisions reportedly advising her to “restructure her management” which eventually led to Roger’s exit.

Insiders have since confirmed that the split is now official, and Spice Diana has gone ahead to unveil her very own record label dubbed “9yard”.
Spice and Roger’s working relationship dates back to 2016 when they joined forces to build what would become one of Uganda’s biggest music brands. Together, they delivered countless hit songs, sold-out concerts, and unforgettable moments that cemented Spice’s place among Uganda’s top female artists.
Their bond was so tight that fans often speculated there might be more than just business chemistry between the two and perhaps, they weren’t entirely wrong.
With the birth of 9yard, Spice Diana is now taking full control of her music career and business empire. Industry insiders believe this bold move marks the beginning of a new chapter for her as both an artist and entrepreneur.
While neither Spice Diana nor Roger Lubega has released an official statement regarding the split, sources insist that the separation was amicable and purely based on professional growth.

Meanwhile, Roger who has previously managed artists like Ziza Bafana is reportedly on the lookout for his next big talent to be signed under Source management .
