Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze Bakireke has spoken out and reassured the public and all her fans that she is on the road to recovery after developing health complications during a TV appearance last week that left everyone scared.
The legislator revealed that she fell ill mid-show while appearing on NBS TV’s Barometer program on Tuesday. Luckily, her husband Henry and her aide were present and quickly rushed her to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
After five tough days in hospital, Nambooze says doctors have now declared her out of danger, though she remains under medical supervision for further treatment.
“It’s been five challenging days, but I’m grateful to God that He has preserved my life. The doctors have now declared me out of danger, although I’ll remain in the hospital for further treatment,” she shared.
I’m thankful to God for saving my life after five trying days, and I can now say that I’m getting well. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of my friends and family for their kind visit and prayers. Deeply grateful she posted.
