Campaign Shock: Health Scare Forces Munyagwa to Pause West Nile Rallies

Common Man’s Party presidential candidate Mubarak Munyagwa has temporarily suspended his campaign activities in the West Nile region following a sudden health scare.

Munyagwa who is seeking the highest official in Uganda’s politics for the first time disclosed the development while addressing supporters in Koboko District, where he reportedly nearly collapsed during a charged campaign rally. The incident caused panic among supporters as aides quickly stepped in and advised him to seek immediate medical attention.

According to sources close to the campaign, Munyagwa’s condition worsened at the time, forcing his team to halt all planned engagements in the region.

Following medical advice, the presidential hopeful has put all West Nile campaign rallies on hold for the next few days as he focuses on recovery.

Munyagwa, however, has assured his supporters that the break is only temporary. He says he is responding well to treatment and plans to resume his campaign on Sunday, vowing to return stronger and more determined.

Meanwhile, supporters across West Nile and beyond have flooded social media with messages wishing him a quick recovery as the presidential race continues to heat up.
