Bebe Cool Takes Aim at Eddy Kenzo Over Copyright Debate

Musician Bebe Cool has lashed out at fellow artist and UNMF President Eddy Kenzo, accusing him of lacking a clear understanding of copyright and music rights management.

Speaking during the unveiling of the Bebe Cool List 2025–2026, the gagamel crew boss dismissed Kenzo’s recent comments on copyright, saying they do not address the real issues affecting artists.

“Eddy Kenzo lacks knowledge about copyright, that’s why his talks don’t even relate, there is no copyright management he talks about. Such people don’t deserve our time.”, Bebe Cool stressed.

The outspoken singer argued that discussions around copyright should focus on structured management systems that protect artists’ work and earnings, rather than what he described as uninformed opinions.

Eddy Kenzo is yet to respond to Bebe Cool’s remarks and he does we shall keep you posted.
