The letter, signed by Justice Byabakama, was also copied to the Secretary General of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and the Returning Officer for Nakaseke District.

The development comes at a critical time as the country gears up for the 2026 General Elections, scheduled to take place in January, with stakeholders closely watching the Electoral Commission’s handling of election-related complaints.
